Detection of cerebral vasculopathy in sickle cell disease using transcranial Doppler ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging. Case report.

    We describe a case of homozygous sickle cell anemia in which noninvasive transcranial Doppler ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging were used to detect angiographically documented occlusive lesions of intracranial arteries.
